Once baby arrives the days are hazy and the priority is survival. If you did not get newborn photos done once your baby arrived please do not think you are too late to capture this new season in life. There is still time to celebrate during baby’s first year.

I do want to say, I highly suggest connecting 2 months prior to the due date if newborn photos are a priority to you and your family. Then once baby arrives, all you have to do is let me know baby is here and we can schedule a date together in the 5-12 day window.

Babies 3-6 Months Old

I love this age and I think you will too for photos. At this age, babies are full of dumpling rolls and all the smiles. Their personalities are blooming and they are like your little best friends. As the best friends you are, you know exactly how to make her laugh to get those amazing smiles. 

This is usually right before independent movement so we will have adorable sitter photos; photos of sitting up and laying down on belly. They also still want to be attached to your hip still, so cuddling and family photos will not be a problem.

Babies 9-12 Months Old

This is such a fun age also for photos. We have babies that are starting to move on their own and maybe some teeth popping through. Don’t fret, you will still get those dreamy cuddling photos because you are the love of their life.

Somewhere during the session, I guarantee you will say, “What happened to my baby?!” In the last year they have grown so much and your heart has grown just as much.
