Forest Lake Newborn Fall Session
I love a newborn session outside. I have been lucky enough to capture a baker’s dozen of newborn sessions outside during the Summer and Falls months and they are so magical. This was no different for this Forest Lake family… who happens to be my sister! It was so special to capture my niece’s newborn photos outside as the leaves were at peak during a beautiful Minnesota Fall day.
To be relatable, I want to tell you a little bit about what the behind the scenes looked like at this session, it was chaos! My nephew, who is adjusting being a big brother, was in and out of the camera. He would be all smiles from 15 frames then peaced out of there to run around. Then my niece was hungry, so my sister fed her. We moved on to photos with baby and dad, but oof, nope sweet Avery screamed and just wanted the comfort of mom.
This was all in a quick 30 minutes. So if you think your kids may be themselves during photos, trust me when I say they will and that is okay! I have never not been able to produce amazing photos even in the midst of chaos. Because in actuality, that is what our true lives are… chaos.
